Insurance/Payment

We work hard to get your visits covered by insurance. We believe that insurance should be paying for your visits. You deserve support and we will do everything we can to get insurance to pay for all or most of your visits with us. We will not bill you if you have medicaid. We do not collect co-pays or co-insurance as the ACA states that there is to be no cost sharing for lactation visits.

We are in network with insurance (see a complete list below) and we will bill this insurance directly.  For out-of-network insurances, we can do a benefits check and see if services will be covered. For many insurances, your full cost will be covered. We also can request a pre-approval/in-network exception request to cover all or part of your visits depending on your coverage and benefits. For out of network insurances: We will bill insurance and send you an invoice for any services that are not covered by your insurance within 30 days of your last visit with us.  If your insurance does not cover all or part of your visit, we will let you know.

Reimbursement: We can provide you with a Superbill so that you may receive reimbursement from you insurance company.

We can also take HSA/FHA cards. 

***We charge a travel fee of $50 for home visits that are a long distance away (over 45 min drive, this is not billable to insurance.***

Out Of Network: Providence Commercial, All Kaiser Plans and their payment to us will vary by your plan.

Insurance can be a headache to deal with and slow to respond. We take care of billing your insurance and will even request prior authorizations for your insurance so that you are fully covered for your visits with us, so you can focus on your real priority…. your new baby.
