It’s important to note that most parent’s will fall asleep with their baby and that couches and recliners are a lot less safe that a bed surface. Below are some guidelines to help you make sure the sleep area where you baby is sleeping is safe/secure so that you can feel assured that if you do fall asleep with your baby, or you plan to bedshare with you baby, your sleep surface/area is set up for safe infant sleep. *Note the guidelines are edited to use gender neutral language.
